In my life I´ve had lucky and I´ve could know different places, like Arica, the desert of Atacama, Temuco, Pucón, Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Machu Picchu and Arequipa. But the best holiday in my life was when I’m ten years old and I traveled with my family.
We traveled via car to Temuco and my sister drove. We visited to my uncle, he lives in a mapuche community with her girlfriend who is mapuche, we thought that it was funny, but my uncle lived in a very natural way and he didn´t have bathroom, electricity and ate only what he produced. Now I think is great and I love visit him , but in those years I didn't think that, so we were there three days and continued travel to the south.
We visit villarica, Lincan Ray and ´Pucón, I swam in the lake, ate a lot of marmalade and took photograph of all the places. But the most important of those holidays was I found a dog.
When we traveled to Lican Ray I saw on the street a very small dog alone, it was so small that I couldn´t leave him , exit the car and I took him, it´was very sick, he didn´t know how bark and didn´t have teeths, so my mom thought that my dog would die in the travel, but, my dog didn´t die and now he still live wiht us.
His name is lican and is a funny dog because he grew up not far, but he think that is a huge animal and bark the people, fight with big dogs and in the night we can´t see him because is completely black!!
I love my grumpy dog and is very special to my because of him I never forget those vacations
Hi Rosita, i was reading your blog and at the sentences "...when I’m ten years old and I traveled with my family" and "We visit villarica..." maybe you must say "when i was ten years old..." and "We visited Villarica..."

ResponderEliminarIf I were you I probably felt in the same way because isn't funny to do some basic things in a different way when you are not concious of that way of life.
Now according to our student's duty... I understood some of your ideas but many of them were quite difficult to reveal :p , I think you can really improve your writing just keep studying and focus on past tense!

Rosita, it is a beautiful story! I think your holidays were great but it's funny to think that the best part of it was finding and saving your dog more than the travelling itself!
ResponderEliminarI agree with my classmates with the past tense thing, but also you should be careful with the begining of the story. For example, "lucky" is an adjective, so you should say " I´ve had been lucky" or "I've had luck", and when you say "I´ve could know different places" you should just say "I've known different places".
Beyond that, I enjoyed reading your adventures and I understood everything you said :)
